Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

During his tenure in the corporate production industry, Dr. Pennington decided to reevaluate his career trajectory and found that he was inspired by his grandfather posthumously to work in the dental field. He remembered the overall positive impact his grandfather had on the people around him, and Dr. Pennington knew he wanted to accomplish a similar feat. He was also drawn by the unique combination of science, technical expertise, and interpersonal skills that come with working in dentistry. Today, he loves the work he does as well as the lives he gets to help, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Pennington studied at Kennesaw State University for his undergraduate studies. He later went on to attend Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Illinois for his dental doctorate. While in dental school, he was President of the Oral Surgery and Dental Business organizations and was also an associate of the Delta Sigma Delta International Fraternity. Along with furthering his skills and knowledge of dentistry through continuing education courses in both surgical and restorative procedures, he is also a proud member of several professional organizations, including the:

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

If you don’t find him at the office treating pearly whites, Dr. Pennington is spending time with his wonderful wife and their two beautiful children. His hobbies involve rock climbing, hunting, and building computers. Aside from his dental and corporate achievements, he also has advanced certifications in scuba diving!
